Aldo Di Puorto and his wife came to the United States from Italy in the 1980’s with a dream for a future. After working in the restaurant business for a few years, they opened their first restaurant in 1987 on Main Street in Thomasville, NC.

Since opening his first location over 30 years ago, he has opened an additional seven locations. Today, he operates three of those locations with the help of his two sons, Gino and Raffaele.

Food was very delicious. There was such a great variety that was offered from the menu. I loved how fresh and authentic the meals were. The flavor was very delicious. My family enjoyed every bite. On Hwy8 near Lexington/ High Rock Lake, this little gem of a spot was a great find! Greeted with warm friendly service, prices a very fair and food service was quick. Staff checked on us a few times for drink refills and to see if our food was good. The pizza was exactly how we like it, thin, crispy on the bottom and delicious, we opted for pepperoni and mushroom pizza, I also got a house salad/ house dressing, generous portions. This was a great lunch visit but had good dinner options too! We highly recommend and we will revisit when in the area.

Definitely recommend this place! For a quick lunch or a low key family dinner. The lemonade tastes like I got it at the fair..absolutely delicious!! I got the spaghetti with meatballs (I forgot to take a picture) but the amount of cheese they added on top was picture perfect. It had the perfect amount of sauce for dipping the garlic bread! The waiter was funny and friendly and at the end brought me a lemonade in a togo container!

This location was scrumptious! The portions were more than we could eat in two sittings! The staff was so friendly, checked on us regularly and were just great to be around. There is an outdoor seating area also that was cozy and inviting. We highly recommend this venue!
